What is the timber used for?
Paulownia, or Kiri timber, is used for high quality panelling, venetian blinds, shutters and is also used in the construction of boats and caravans because of its light weight. More info...

How much does the timber sell for?
Market prices currently indicate approximately $1,000 per cubic metre for rough sawn timber. More info...

What does the timber look like?
Paulownia timber its light honey to blonde coloured. It has a straight grain and timber produced by the EFF Group is generally clear grade because we manage our trees to reduce the number of knots in the timber.

What are the Kiri Park Projects?
The Kiri Park Projects are a series of managed investment schemes that EFF have established to grow Paulownia trees. Our first project has 6 years old trees and seedlings for our newest Project have just been planted.

How will you sell the timber?
EFF Timber Pty Ltd, trading as Highpoint Timbers, has been specifically established for selling the timber from the Kiri Park Projects. Highpoint has been selling Paulownia timber in Perth for over 10 years and was recently acquired by the EFF Group of Companies to manage timber sales for the Group.

Timber from EFF’s private plantations is currently being sold by Highpoint.
